That the woman was appeared to be happily married matters one iota to him. He sets out to make her his own, but he was in for the fight of his life, literally, because Solange/Lange was having none of it. Matters came to a head when Jean Louis enters her home and left her body and her mind in total chaos. “The Black Magic Man has it all! Suspense, romance, lust and passion, in a beautiful locale. What more could you want?”
- Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am an eternal optimist and an insatiable reader/writer, especially of high heat romance. I love a good, exciting story.
I write in several genres; however, my favourite is contemporary romance. I love reading historical romances, but I do not know if I would be able to write one. Also, I have read so many, they are beginning to blur together; what’s left to write about…but then again, one must never say never. I do love writing children’s books, and this I do for relaxation. I find it easy to slip back into my childhood, where I take the time to play.
- What inspired you to write your first book?
My situation is a little bit different. I wrote my first book for my book for my job, so I have to say I saw a need at work and I stepped in and fulfilled that need.
- How did you come up with the title of your book?
The title of my book, Black Magic Man is exactly what is says. It is about a Black Magic Man. I had already written the story of the White Magic Woman.
- Describe your main character in five words.
Alpha, Aggressive, Arrogant, Conniving and Manipulative
- What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your book?
I learned that some readers are drawn to the villain in the story and sometimes feel conflicted.
- How long does it take you to write a book?
It depends, with a 50K MS, about a month. A novella, about one week.
- Can you share a little of your current work with us?
I just finished a novella for Mother’s Day, which will be out this month and I’m working on a contemporary romance, due out in June.
- What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
When I’m writing, I write 5000 words a day. I don’t do it all in one sitting. I type 1000 and I move on to something else… house cleaning, shopping, cooking, etc.
- Do you have any writing rituals?
Yes and no. By that I mean I try to keep to my commitment of 5000 words a day. It has to be completed before I retire for the night.
- What book are you reading now?
Nalini Singh’s Archangel’s Legion.
- Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
Please drop me a line if you enjoy my books. I love hearing from you.
His laughter could be heard on the night air as he found the woman’s house. He could not enter now, but no one could stop him from watching her, getting his fill of her. He would have her. She would be his exclusively, as it was meant to be… Patience, patience!
